The activities of inspection bodies include inspection of the design, product, service, process or manufacture and the control of compliance with certain requirements. Inspection organizations play an active role in the security of many items we use in our daily life, such as periodic manufacturing and process controls. This causes the activities carried out by the role inspection organizations to have high reliability and the need to demonstrate their competence in their fields of activity. Accreditation; It is one of the key elements that ensure the competence, reliability and quality of the inspection activity based on standards or specifications, ensuring its validity in national and international platforms. MLA / MRA has signed mutual recognition agreements, which enables Turkak accreditation, national and international validity. Therefore, as a result of the activities of inspection bodies accredited by TÃœRKAK, within the scope of accreditation, the reports and certificates they produce gain international validity. In the accreditation audits of Turkak inspection bodies, TS EN ISO IEC 17020 2012 Conformity Assessment, which is also used for the accreditation of inspection bodies all over the world, is based on the standards for the Operation of Various Types of Inspection Organizations. The explanatory and additional criteria specified in the guideline documents prepared by ILAC and EA, of which TÃœRAK is a member, are followed by TÃœRKAK and used in audits when necessary. The audit process also includes the inspection of inspection activities by authorized technical experts in the relevant fields. As in other fields, accreditation in the field of inspection is voluntary.
